FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How does the AI know what’s an emergency?
The AI is trained to recognize urgent situations like fires, flooding, gas leaks, break-ins, and medical emergencies based on what the caller describes. It asks clarifying questions when needed to make sure it classifies correctly. If there’s any doubt, it errs on the side of notifying you immediately.
What if the AI makes a mistake?
The system is designed to be conservative—when in doubt, it notifies you. You’ll also receive a complete summary of all calls every morning, so nothing slips through the cracks. If something gets miscategorized, you’ll still see it in your digest.
Do tenants know they’re talking to AI?
Yes. The AI introduces itself as an automated assistant for your HOA. Transparency is important, and most tenants appreciate that their call is being handled immediately rather than going to voicemail.
How long does setup take?
About 10-15 minutes. I’ll walk you through everything—we just need to set up call forwarding from your existing number and configure your notification preferences.
Can I customize what counts as an emergency?
Absolutely. During setup, we’ll discuss what situations you want immediate notifications for. Every HOA is different, and the system can be configured to match your specific needs.
What does it cost?
Pricing depends on call volume and specific requirements. Reach out and I’ll give you a quote based on your HOA’s needs. It’s typically much less than hiring an answering service or paying per-minute call center fees.
